Naomi Marie Pollari (Nee Miller), 79 of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 16, 2016. That night, Heaven gained an angel to be with the Lord. She was born on August 22, 1937 in Orrville, daughter of Nelson R. and Nora (Yoder) Miller, and was a graduate of Middlefield High School in 1955. Naomi married her high school sweetheart Edwin M. Pollari May 26, 1956. They celebrated their 60th Anniversary this year with their family and friends. Naomi retired from Geauga Industries/Carlisle Corp in 2000 where she was a clerk in accounting department. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Middlefield where she was the first secretary of the church and involved with many activities, including volunteering at the Thrift Shop and a funeral dinner chairperson at the church. She loved to bake and baked some of the best pies; volunteered at the Library; and was a poll worker during elections. Naomi was a very loving and giving person. She was so willing to give of herself freely and quietly. Her family and her friends will miss her. She is survived by her beloved husband, Edwin Pollari; her son, Mark (Lisa) Pollari of Troy Township; her daughter, Lisa (Mike) Ludwig of Newbury; six grandchildren, Heather (Keith) Carver, Rachel Darrah, Tyler (Aly Blair), Travis, Turner, and Tessa Pollari; two great grandchildren, Anyrah and Alana Edmiston; two sisters, Martha Bretz, Catherine Johnston and her sister in law, Dixie Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, David Miller; and two brothers in law, Michael Bretz and Kenneth Johnston. A Celebration of Life will be held 12 Noon Saturday, November 26, 2016, with a gathering of family and friends 10 a.m. until the service time at the First United Methodist Church, 14999 S State Ave., Middlefield, Ohio 44062. A Memorial Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Middlefield Cemetery.
