We are gathered here today to honor the life and memory of our beloved Nathanyal Jefferson, born on January 1, 1950, in the lively city of Newark, New Jersey, United States. Nathanyal left this world on November 24, 2023, but not without leaving a significant impact on the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Nathanyal was the cherished son of Weldon and Eunice Jefferson and grew up surrounded by love and laughter. As the oldest of their three children, he embraced his role as the caring and protective big brother to his sisters.
With Lisa and her loving spouse Tyrone, Cherisse and her devoted spouse Keith, and Shantia and her kindhearted spouse Anthony, Nathanyal's legacy continued to thrive through his three adored children. He was a devoted father whose love and guidance shaped them into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Nathanyal counted his blessings not only in his children but also in his three cherished grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Their smiles brightened his days and filled his heart with unconditional love.
When he wasn't busy being an exceptional father and a doting grandfather, Nathanyal could be found at his beloved workplace, Mechanic. With his incredible skills and tireless work ethic, he ensured that cars purred like kittens under his capable hands. His coworkers remember him as a man who always had a joke on his lips and a helping hand to offer.
Although Nathanyal's journey in this life came to an end due to a heart attack, we choose to remember him for the way he lived: with boundless enthusiasm, an infectious sense of humor, and a heart filled with love for his family and friends.
As we bid farewell to Nathanyal Jefferson, let us celebrate his remarkable life by cherishing the memories we shared with him and embracing the joy he brought into our lives. In his honor, may we find solace in laughter, love, and togetherness, knowing that he would want nothing more than for us to continue living life to the fullest. Rest in peace, dear Nathanyal.
