Nedra Dalley StoreySt. GeorgeNedra Dalley Storey, 82, passed away peacefully at her home on January 4, 2017, due to complications caused by dementia.She was born on August 19, 1934, in Summit, Utah to Cora Hulet and Otto Pidding Dalley. She graduated from Cedar High School and then from BYU. While at BYU she met her future husband, Jerald T. Storey. They were married following Nedra's graduation in 1956.Jerry and Nedra lived in Boise ID, Salt Lake City, Ogden and then North Ogden while Jerry completed his education and pursued his career in academics. They raised their sons in North Ogden, Utah and later retired to St. George. She loved art, architecture and gardening. Like her mother, she had a special love for roses.She delighted in being a mother to her sons and a grandmother to her 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many different positions in the church as well as serving temple missions with her sweetheart in both the St. George and Washington D.C. Temples.She is survived by: her sons Jeff (Lisa) St. George, UT; Mark (Lisa) Gilbert, AZ; and Neil (Mari) St. George, UT. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna Davenport, Summit, UT and Carol Davis, Price, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry and her beloved brother, O. Keith Dalley, who was killed in action during WWII, while Nedra was just a young girl.The family would like to thank all of the care workers from Canyon Homecare and Hospice; everyone was so kind and thoughtful. Also, to all of the wonderful friends and neighbors who were such amazing support.Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing the same morning starting at 9:30 a.m., at the Stonebridge Ward Chapel, 82 N.
