Dr. P. S. Neelakantaswamy alias Dr. P. S. Neelakanta passed away peacefully on 1 July 2026 in Florida, USA, following a brief illness.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Mrs. Manjula, sons Mr. Mahesh and Mr. Sabarish and their families (USA), sister Dr. P. S. Santhakumari (Chennai), and a large circle of relatives, friends, colleagues, and former students worldwide.
Neelakanta was a remarkable individual known for his wisdom and kindness. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to the service of his students as a professor, leaving a positive impact on all who knew him. His passion for learning and sharing knowledge inspired many, and his warm presence will be deeply missed.
Neelakanta’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on 29 August 2026 to honour his life and dedication to education. Anyone wishing to attend / participate are kindly requested to contact the family for further details.
