Butt, Neil R.Neil R. Butt, age 72, of North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1945 in Milwaukee, the son of Rutherford and Margaret (Woldt) Butt. On September 2, 1978 Neil married Susan Myrblom at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac. Neil served in the United States Army Reserves. Neil worked at Mercury in the service department for forty-three years retiring in 2009. He was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church where he was very involved over the years. Neil enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and camping in Door County. He also went to culinary school in Milwaukee and was a trained chef and loved cooking.Survivors include his wife Susan of North Fond du Lac; three children, Jessica (Hank) Lieurance of Fond du Lac, Melissa (Joey) Schumann of Appleton, and Justin Butt of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Harlie, Elijah, Ian, Alex, Rowan, and Willow; two sisters, Joan (Del) Kollmann of Oshkosh, and Sally (Ken) Huth of Aurora, CO; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Myrblom of Ontonagon, MI, and Dennis Hilgendorf of Cedarburg, WI; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Ave, North Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Funeral service will follow at the church at 1:00 PM.
