ALBION — Neil E. Winebrenner, 56, of Fort Wayne and formerly of Albion, died on Sunday, Sept .18, 2016, at North Ridge Village Nursing Home in Albion. He was born on Oct 3, 1959, in Kendallville to Ronnie and Ann (Gappinger) Winebrenner. He was a 1978 graduate of Central Noble High School and later graduated from IU with a degree in business management. He worked as an accountant with Zollner Corporation in Fort Wayne and more recently owned and managed property. Neil loved to play tennis and golf, and coached high school tennis for several years. He is survived by his mother, Ann Winbrenner of Albion, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Winebrenner, and his beloved pet, Wilson. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 605 E. Main St., Albion, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Bret Frymier will officiate. Visitation will also be from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
