RED LION Nelda M. Flemmens, 90, died Thursday January 22, 2015 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Carrol W. Flemmens. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Glenview Alliance Church, 10037 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, with Pastor Tim Allen officiating. Viewing will be held at the Glenview Alliance Church from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Nelda was born on March 16, 1924 in Springfield Township, the daughter of the late Charles W. Bose, Sr. and C. Pauline (Althouse) Bose. She was a 1942 graduate of William Penn High School. She retired from Danskin, York, after over 20 years of employment. She was a member of Glenview Alliance Church, Glen Rock. Nelda Loved to sew, garden, and to read. She leaves four daughters, Carol Ann Bradfield and her husband, Chuck of Glen Rock, Joyce R. Masterson and her husband, Jim of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Jeanne M. Floyd of La Luz N.M., and Kaye L. Allison and her husband, Kenny of Glen Rock; three sons, Dwaine L. Flemmens and his wife, Sarah of Red Lion, Richard F. Flemmens and his wife, Paulette of Glen Rock, and David C. Flemmens and his wife, Vicki of New Freedom; 17 grandchildren; 40 great- grandchildren; four great- great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Flossie Rusbuldt and C. Charlene Kline. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Tom Floyd; two sisters, Esther Kehr and Freda Fahs; two brothers, Lloyd Bose and Charles Bose II; and a foster brother, Earl Creager.
