We mourn the loss of Nellie Johnson, who was born on October 5, 1930, in Conroe, Texas, United States. She passed away on October 26, 2024. Nellie grew up in Conroe and attended Booker T. Washington High School, graduating in 1948.

Nellie was a devoted member of the Mother of the Church organization and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She had a deep love for her church and spent much of her free time participating in church activities and events.

In 1947, Nellie married Ezekiel Johnson, and together they raised four children: Joan Hightower, Fannie Johnson, Ezekiel Johnson Jr., and Ralph Johnson (with spouse Sherrill Johnson). Nellie was a loving and dedicated mother, making sure her children had everything they needed to succeed in life.

Throughout her life, Nellie was known for her kind and nurturing spirit. She had a warm smile and a contagious laugh that could brighten anyone's day. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving and caring individual who brought joy to everyone she met.

Nellie's passing was a result of Cardiac Arrest. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
