Nelson Cline WrightAge: 89 • Weyers Cave, VANelson Cline Wright, 89, of Weyers Cave, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at Bridgewater Home.He was born on September 19, 1927, and was a son of the late Leta (Cline) and Paul Wright.Nelson was a graduate of Weyers Cave High School, class of 1945. In his professional career, he was a dairy farmer, in partnership with his brother. He was very active in farm organizations, serving as State President of the Dairy Herd Improvement Association for 13 years, a member of the Board of Directors for Farm Credit, and an active member of Young Farmers. He was a lifelong member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, where he served as Deacon and in various other roles.On June 24, 1950, he was united in marriage to Nell (Cline) Wright, who survives.Nelson, lovingly known as "Mushie", is also survived by a daughter, Brenda Jane Seese and husband Lyman "Rich", of Waynesboro; sons by choice, William H. Drumeller, III and wife, Melissa, Kenneth Lee Dull and wife Kaori; sisters, Dorothy Wampler, of Bridgewater, and Helen Shiflet and husband Lenwood, of Bridgewater; five grandchildren, Carole Seese Tiley and husband Josh, Andrea Seese, Sean Dull, Rachel Dull, and Kevin Dull; two great-grandchildren, Will Tiley and Rosemarie Tiley; many nieces and nephews and loving in-laws, Ruth Wade Wright, Jane Cline Mundy, Willard and Mary Cline, Ruth and Bob Talmage.He is also preceded in death by a son, Stephen Nelson Wright, and a brother, Millard G. Wright.A graveside service will be conducted at 2PM Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery in Weyers Cave. A memorial service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3PM with Pastors Daniel House and Ron Wyrick officiating.
