Nestor Garcia of Hanover Park, Illinois, passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 67. Born on May 8, 1957 in Streamwood, IL. Nestor lived a life full of adventure and laughter.

He married his beloved wife, Ruth Garcia, in year 32 and they were blessed with three wonderful children: Randy Garcia, Steve Garcia, and Gabriel Garcia. Nestor was also a proud grandparent of Kaitlyn Garcia and a proud uncle to Anthony Mosqueda, Adrian Ramirez and Matthew Jara, who were the most important part of his life.

Nestor enjoyed working as a vehicle mechanic and spent countless hours tinkering with cars and trucks. His passion for vehicles was evident to all who knew him. He enjoyed hiking and backpacking in the Rockies, traveled to 33 states and was well known for his passion for traveling. He was a spiritual man and involved in many church activities. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

On November 5, 2024, Nestor Garcia passed away due to a small bowel obstruction while at home. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on forever in our hearts. A funeral service is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on November 16, 2024 at the Grace Lutheran Church, 780 S. Bartlett Rd. Streamwood, IL 60107. Reverend Silvio Delgado will officiate.
