Newton "Peewee"  Sapp passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Newton was born on September 2, 1934 in Lafayette County, FL to the late Ronald and Lois Sapp. He loved hunting, fishing, sports, being with family and friends, and being an adviser. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Mayo, Florida. He is survived by Close special friend Virginia Thompson; three daughters and one son: Paulette (Michael) Guerra, Yvonne (Mike) Rossborough, Dealya (Tommy) Sapp, and Ronald (Billy Jo) Sapp; one sister, Barbara (Robert) Barnett; one brother, Sonny (Lana Kay) Sapp; one half-brother, Dennis Sapp and one half-sister, Phyllis Joiner and nine grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at the Union Baptist Church in O'Brien, Florida on Thursday, March 17, 2011. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. followed by the funeral service.
