Nica L. AnayaDecember 1, 1925 - April 17, 2016 Nica L. Anaya, 90, of Yuma, AZ, beloved wife of the late Eusebio Anaya, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Manchester, CT surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 1, 1925 in Lajolla, NM the daughter of the late Avelino and Mariana Lopez. She Lived in Socorro, NM most of her childhood and moved to Yuma in 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eusebio Anaya, son Billy Anaya, daughter Margaret Garcia and grandson Anthony Garcia, four brothers and three sisters. Nica was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where she was on the Liturgy Committee, Legion of Mary, taught CCD, Choir and Secular Carmelite. She volunteered in the Heart Fund Association. Nica is survived by her loving children Jerry Anaya, Edward Anaya and daughter-in-law Marcie, Joseph Anaya and Eugene Anaya; Judy Giannantoni and son-in-law John, Marianne Lorona, Patricia Pepper and Sandra Anaya. She had over 20 grandchildren and over 30 great grandchildren. Numerous nephews and nieces. Her religion and family were her life. She was a loving and caring person and was always there to offer her assistance to all. Family and friends may call on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Yuma Mortuary between 5-9 pm. Funeral Services will be on April 23, 2016 with a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons: Jacob Pepper (lead pallbearer), Steven Pepper, Wille Bellah, David Garcia, Joey Anaya and Gabriel Munoz
