"The Road Goes On Forever, and The Party Never Ends."
It is with heavy hearts that we bid adieu to Nicholas "Nicky" Cook, who left us all too soon on April 29, 2023. Nicky, born on July 29, 1984, in Wichita, Kansas, was the kind of person who made us laugh and smile through the tears.
From a young age, Nicky was known for his sense of humor. He would put a whoopee cushion on your chair when you least expected it, or tell the most ridiculous jokes that left you scratching your head but giggling nonetheless. In fact, he once tried to convince us that the moon was made of cheese, and we're pretty sure he almost had us convinced until we saw the look in his eye.
Nicky had a passion for life that was contagious. Whether he was playing pranks on his coworkers or dancing like no one was watching at the local bar, he was always the life of the party. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for his friends and family. He once even paid for his friend's entire bar tab, even though he was broke himself. That's the kind of guy he was.
He loved nothing more than a good bowl of chili and a cold beer (or five), and he was always up for a game of darts or pool. He never took life too seriously and lived every day to the fullest.
Now that he's gone, our lives will never be the same. We'll miss his infectious laugh, his silly jokes, and his unwavering kindness. We'll never forget the memories we shared with him, and we'll always treasure the time we had with him.
Rest in peace, Nicky. We'll see you again someday, and we know you'll have a good joke or two to tell us.
You can to the family or in memory of Nicholas Cook.
