Nicolas Matthew FunkJune 14, 1986 - July 11, 2013Blackfoot - Nicolas Matthew Funk, 27, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Nicolas was born on June 14, 1986 in Pocatello the son of Randy Line and Patricia Detwiler; He was their only Child together.Nicolas attended Snake River High School and Gilcrest High. He lived and grew up in Blackfoot and Greeley, Colorado. He enjoyed being around people and always had a smile. He loved to ride motorcycles like his step-father Ken Detwiler, he also enjoyed golfing and fishing. He cared deeply for his step sister and brother's and spending time with his Grandpa Herrick. Nick liked to build Lego's with his cousin's Dalton, Aston, and brother Christopher. As a child he loved to play with Semi-trucks and grew a passion to start his own Trucking Company called F2 Transportation. Survivors include his mother, Patricia (Kenneth) Detwiler, Grandparents Arnold and Karen Herrick, sibling sister Melissa, and brother Christopher, uncle Marlin(Collette) Herrick, aunt Cynthia (Bill) Rayburn , cousin Dalton, Aston, Braxton, Joshua (Stephanie), Micheal, Matthew, Rachel, Rebekah; Father Randy (Lana) Line, grandmother Regina Line, grandfather Richard Line, uncle Tony(Vickie) Line, uncle Leo Line, aunt Debbie (Brian) Nuggent; Step siblings, Destiny Line, Kayla Line, Lee Black and he was loved by many other family members.He was preceded in death by his great grandparents and one cousin.Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at the Moreland LDS 5th Ward Chapel, 740 West 175 North Blackfoot, Idaho, 83221.
