Niegel Kane Carey, 32 of Cleveland passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 18, 1983 in Beaumont, Texas to parents Dean and Joann Carey. He is preceded in death by his grandpa and friend, Canie Brumley; grandpa, Roger Paarmann.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Michelle Carey; parents, Dean and Joann Carey; daughter, Destiny Lee; sons, Jaxon Carey and George Carey; sisters, Melissa McCown and Krista Eakin; nieces and nephews, Tanner McCown, Landon Blanton, Leland Blanton, Hailey Blanton, Adam Royder and Carless Washburn; grama, Beth Ann Carey; aunts, Elizabeth Carey-Norwood and husband Tommy, Deanna Smith; uncles, AL and Shane Carey; father-in-law, Dennis Washburn and wife Lori; sister-in-law, Stephanie Blanton and husband J.D.; brother-in-law, Jeff Washburn; along with a huge group of lifelong friends who became family.
Niegel graduated from Cleveland High School class of 2002. He was an avid collector of useless knowledge. His greatest accomplishments were his three children whom he fought so hard for. He was known best for his quick-witted humor and ability to always stay positive.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Squier Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
