On August 21, 2022, Noel Hunter left this earth. Noel was born on November 24, 1948 to the union of John Hunter and Nancy Ruth Cummings in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Her children, Nacier Hunter, Kirby Hunter; Her grandchildren, Kebori Hunter, Shametria Hunter, Treon Hunter, David Hunter, Latia Rainey, Rashad Rainey as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.

Noel worked at Ascension Parish Library and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Visitation on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 9 am at Greater Israel Baptist Church, 7076 LA 308, Belle Rose, Louisiana, 70341; Religious service to follow at 11 am. Burial at church cemetery.
