Noreen J. Bennett Moore 1943 - 2016VERONA - Noreen J. Bennett Moore, 73, of Verona, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2106, at her home, with her loving family at her side.She was born on April 25, 1943, a daughter of the late William J., Sr. and Viola Litz Bennett. Noreen was a graduate of VVS. High School and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Verona. On December 21, 1972, she was united in marriage to Rex B. Moore, Sr. in Troy, Michigan. Noreen was employed by General Motors in Michigan, until her retirement. She is survived by her loving husband, Rex B. Moore, Sr., of Verona; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth R. and Barbara Moore, Jeffery S. and Wendy Moore, Rex B., Jr. and Tammy Moore, all of Michigan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Peter Andrews, Janice and Mark Marvin, all of Michigan; a sister, Terry R. Bennett, of Verona; and brother, William Bennett, Jr., of Rome; a special aunt, Patricia Niznik; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank Hospice, especially Jennifer, Kim and Melissa, for the wonderful care they provided to Noreen and her family.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford NY 13413 or the , 120 Lomond Court, Utica NY 13502.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 1:00 P.M., at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., prior to the service. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery.
