Norma Ardella Judson, 90, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Colonial Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on Jan. 15, 1924, in Nelson County to the late Bernard L. and Theresa Dones Ritchie. She was a former employee of Barton's Distillery for 29 years and a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Judson Sr.; a son, Richard W. Judson; and a grandson, Joseph A. "Trey" Judson III.Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn "Merle" (John) Pryse, of Clinton, Tenn., and Dell Judson Link, of Lexington; a son, Joseph A. "Joe" Judson Jr., of Bardstown; a brother, Vernon Ritchie, of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Jodi Pryse ( Walker) Nowell, Elizabeth Pryse (Whit) McCrary, Scott Kemper, Lori (Scott) Ingler, Judson (Judd) Link, Bryan Judson and Rorie Judson; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great- great-grandchild.The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Bro. Stan Lowery will officiate.Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct 11, until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
