Norma E. StoweFORT SENECA: Norma E. Stowe, 80, of Fort Seneca passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was born on January 17, 1937 in Helena to Perry M. and Ruth E. (Lehman) Carper.After earning her GED, she continued her education at Crowder College, MO, the Ohio State Extension University and Paris Junior College, TX. Her favorite job she worked was at Kimberly-Clark.Norma was a member of the Red Hats Society, Rollersville Civic Club and Fort Seneca Community Church. She was a Den Mother and was known for teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was a bit of a health nut. In any situation Norma never met a stranger. As a social butterfly, she was always on the go and the Goodwill shopping queen. Norma was an avid collector of dolls, shoe horns, ties and many other things she loved. She was always thoughtful of others and sought to take care of everyone.She was the loving mother of, Billy (Deanna) Love of Mt Vernon, MO, Sue Coble of Helena, Cindy (Dan) Black of The Colony, TX, Lisa (Scott) Samel of New Boston, TX, Donnie (Sharon) Blevins of Fort Worth, TX, and Mark (Kimberly) Blevins of Rising Sun. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great- grandchildren; siblings Sylvia Lozier, Richard (Barb) Carper, Lynn Carper and Dorothy (Roger) Palm; companion of 25 years, Ted Coble and special friends who would visit and care for her, Diane Selover and Loretta Laird.She is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Dennis Coble; brother, Lowell Carper; sisters, Rita Gerwin and Velma Harrison; niece, Jennifer Carper; and brother-in-law, Archie Lozier.Visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Funeral Services for Norma will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Fort Seneca Community Church 11:00 a.m. where there will be an additional hour of visitation held at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Nathan Lucius will officiate.
