Norma Floyd MaberryShreveport, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Norma Floyd Maberry , age 83 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with Rev. Bill Treadway, pastor of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Vivian Cemetery. There will be time of visitation Thursday, August 10th from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Maberry was born on November 13, 1933 to W. A. and Ruth Floyd and passed away on August 6, 2017 at Willis-Knighton Pierremont after a lengthy illness. She was a longtime employee of McGoldrick Oil Company. Mrs. Maberry loved to do embroidery while traveling with her husband, Bill.Mrs. Maberry was preceded in death by her parents, W. A. and Ruth Floyd; husband, Bill Maberry; son, Kerry Barber and his father, Henry Barber; brother, Frank Floyd and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by her special cousin, Mary Jo Brownlee and several other cousins and friends. Honoring Mrs. Maberry as pallbearers will be family and friends.The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Abdehou and the staff of The Chateaus at Montclaire for their love and kindness shown to her during her illness.
