Norma Jean Hinton, 71, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2016. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment follows in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet. Norma was born on Nov. 11, 1945, to Burlie O. Wayland and Bonnie in Fort Worth. She married her husband, James, of 35 years on April 10, 1981. She will always be remembered for her positive attitude and her way of brightening everyone's day. She always thought about other's before herself. She will be dearly missed and always be remembered. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Burlie O. Wayland and Bonnie; and her older brother, Lyndon Wayland. Survivors: Husband, James A. Hinton; stepchildren, Jason Hinton and Angela Hinton; sister, Patsy Hoerner of Clyde; brother, Robert Wayland of Washington; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and family in the deaf community.
