Norma L. MillerNorma L. Miller, age 88, of Mt. Ayr, Indiana passed away on December 4, 2016 at George Ade Memorial Healthcare, Brook, Indiana.  Norma was born on January 9, 1928, in Norman, Indiana, the daughter of Ruby (Cummings) and Luke Fisher.  She was a resident of Mt. Ayr for 65 years, also having lived in Goodland and Kentland, Indiana.Norma graduated with the Class of 1946 from Clear Spring High School in Clear Spring, Indiana. On June 16, 1951, in Goodland, Indiana she married William Miller who survives.A homemaker, Norma enjoyed raising flowers, gardening and canning the many items grown in her garden, and was an avid reader.  She was a member of the Mt. Ayr United Methodist Church. Norma loved being with her family and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.Survivors include her loving family, husband William Miller of Mt. Ayr, Indiana; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Becky Miller; daughter-in-law Charlotte Miller; grandchildren, Lori (husband Kevin) Hyatt, Ross (wife Rachel) Miller, David (wife Jennifer) Miller, Cale (wife June) Miller, and Ethan Miller; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Dean (wife Estelle) Fisher, David (wife Janet), Fisher, Joy Fish, Danny (wife Kay) Fisher, Susan (husband Russell) Callahan and Dwight Fisher.Norma was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James Miller who passed away on September 1, 2015, two sisters and one brother.Friends will be received at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2:00-8:00 p.m., CST.  Funeral services will be held at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., CST with Chaplain Robert Rawlins officiating.
