Norman Jones, 88, of Camden, Alabama, peacefully passed away on November 22, 2023. He was born on May 5, 1935, and his departure is mourned by a loving community. Norman was known for his compassionate nature, keen intellect, and unwavering integrity. Throughout his life, he proudly served his country in the military and later pursued a successful career as a teacher. Norman's dedication to education touched the lives of countless students, inspiring them to reach their full potential. He will be remembered for his wise counsel, steadfast support, and gentle demeanor. Norman's presence will be greatly missed, and his memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him.

He was predeceased by : his brother Milton Jones. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Jones of Bay Minette, AL; his son Johnny Jones of Bay Minette, AL; his granddaughter Rhonda Purifoy of Pensacola Fl; his step-son George Bill Greek; his grandsons, John Brandon Jones and Nathan Luke Jones; his great granddaughters Cor’Mauri and Aaniyah Purifoy; his step-grandchildren, Brandon Greek, Amanda Greek, Jonathan Greek and Wesley Greek; and his step-great-grandchildren, Kayden Greek, Konner Greek, Kamden Greek, Audrey Greek, Loretta Greek, Allie Thomas, Colton Howell, Caleb Smith, Jazmin Boyington and Braxton Boyington.
