We are sad to announce the passing of Norman Burks Jr, who was born on March 21, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan. He was the beloved son of Norman Burks Sr and Barbra Burks.

Norman is survived by his three children, Jahquan Swint, Hasid Burks, and Jahkia Burks, as well as five grandchildren. He studied at Weequahic High School and went on to work at Ford Motor Company until his retirement in 2016. Norman also proudly served in the Army.

In his free time, Norman enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love for life.

Norman will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
