Norman Elmer Mason,97, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S Coulter Street. Norman was born on November 16, 1919 in Gustine, Texas to James and Nora Mason. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He married Grace Kuzniki in California in 1942 and they were married 70 years. Norman worked for TWA Airlines at the San Francisco International Airport. He and Grace returned to Amarillo in 2000. He was a member of Westcliff Bible Church.He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters and four brothers.Mr. Mason is survived by his daughter, Gail Mason Langford and husband Michael; a sister, Dorothy Frost and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial contributions can be made to Texas Panhandle Pet Savers at P.O.
