Ntobeko Mhlongo was born on April 17, 1992, at Zola clinic, Soweto by his late father Isaac Dube and his late mother Hlengiwe Mhlongo.
Ntobeko was a bright and ambitious individual who pursued his education at Dumelani Primary School in 1997 doing Grade 1 until Grade 6. He then went to Matimba Middle School to do Grade 7 until Grade 9. Lastly he went Makhosonke Secondary School to do Grade 10. Ntobeko's dedication to his family and friends was beyond measure.
Aside from his academic pursuits, Ntobeko was a beloved member of the Moloto community. He actively participated in various community initiatives and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Ntobeko's compassionate nature and strong sense of empathy made him a pillar to his family , and his presence will be sorely missed.
Tragically, Ntobeko's life was cut short on September 10, 2023, due to a devastating assault. His untimely death has left his family, friends, and community shocked and heartbroken. The loss of such a promising individual is truly a profound tragedy, and the memories of his kindheartedness and determination will forever be cherished.
He left behind his grandmother Bettie Mhlongo, sister Khanyisile Mhlongo, brother Sinethemba Mhlongo, two sons Lindokuhle and Dumisane, as well as his extended family and friends. This loss is shared by all who knew and loved Ntobeko.
Ntobeko's passing serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the need for communities to come together in times of sorrow. His family and loved ones are devastated by this great loss but find solace in knowing that Ntobeko's legacy will live on through the memories and impact he made during his time with us.
