O. Scott "Pete" Mathews, 51O. Scott "Pete" Mathews, 51, passed away on November 3, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 7, 1963 in Howard County to George and Mary (Harness) Mathews. Scott was a 1982 Clinton Central High School graduate and attended Purdue University's Agriculture Short Course. He was co-owner of Mathews Buildings, a family business celebrating its 50th year. He was also a life-long farmer. He was a past Master & member of the Burlington F&AM #111, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Murat Shrine of Indianapolis and Logansport, and a member of Moose Lodge #7 in Frankfort. Survivors include two brothers, Levon (Mary) Mathews of Memphis, TN, Steve Mathews of Burlington; two nieces, Sarah Mathews and Kia Keen; one nephew, Maguire Mathews.Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 8 pm on Friday, November, 7, 2014 at Stout & Son Funeral Home 200 E. Main St. in Russiaville, and Masonic services will be at 7:30 pm. Private funeral services will be held.
