Odell A. AndrewsDayton, Idaho - Odell Alder Andrews, 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 in Dayton, Idaho. He was born on October 2, 1926 in Fairview Idaho to Alvin William and Monona Alice Alder Andrews. He married Willa Magret Davis on May 2, 1953 in Preston, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Odell was the foster son of Albert and Alta Moser. After he married his sweetheart Willa they moved to Bench, near Niter where they worked on a farm. They then moved to Alexander, near Soda Springs and then to Snowville, Utah where they worked on a 14,000 acre farm. He was then asked to run the Oneida Stake Welfare Farm in Dayton, Idaho. While in Dayton, he worked for Dayton City and is honored as a member of the Dayton Hall of Fame. Odell and Willa also maintained the Dayton Cemetery for many years. Odell is survived by his wife Willa, of Dayton; his children Tom (Holly) Andrews, of Las Vegas, NV; Tracy (Dan) Pali, of Ogden, Utah; Scott (Sherry) Andrews of Ogden, Utah; and Blake (Ruth) Andrews, of Malmo, NE; 22 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Alice and Joyce, a brother Marion, and a grandson Joshua Andrews.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at noon in the Dayton LDS Chapel with Bishop Wes Beutler conducting. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the church in Dayton and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be in the Dayton Cemetery.
