Born to the late Mr. Julius and
Mrs. Gladys Council in Cairo, Georgia. The oldest of 11siblings. Odell grew up and attended public school in Dunnellon, FL.
He loved fishing and was very good at it. He began working for M&M Truss Co., not knowing he would love his work enough to retire after  40yrs.
He met and married the love of his life, Beatrice Baskin, shortly thereafter.
In that Union was 1 daughter, Sharon Denice Council and 1stepson, Donald Moore.

He was preceded in death by 2  sisters, Rosa Lee Council and Dorothy Jean Council Rose (Brother in Law) Ralph Rose and 1brother, Joe Artis Council (widow) Mrs. Mary Campbell Council.

Odell leaves many great memories with his Grand children:

Brothers: Calvin Council, Jacksonville FL, Jackie White (Patsy), Melrose FL and Charles White (Vickie), Washington DC.
Sisters: Betty Council, Gainesville FL, Sandra Rolle (Simeon), Gainesville and Sorento FL, Shirley Satcher (Del) Melrose FL and Barbara White Gainesville FL.
