Odis was born in La Mesa, California to Odis & MaryLou Harris. The family moved to Queen Creek, Az where Odis and his sisters Julia, Jennifer, and Janet were raised. Odis spent nearly 3 decades as a hard working Roofer- then transitioned over to a new career as a Water Technician. Odis proudly retired as a Town Of Queen Creek Employee. Odis had 3 daughters Christina, Elizabeth and Carolyn- who gave him 7 Grandchildren- Aliyah, Cristofer, Marciano, Rianna, Ricardos, Chiarah, and Caimaea. Odis was also a Great Grandfather to Baby Cristofer. Odis was a caring, strong, dependable, steady man- he loved his Family, dutch oven cook offs, having the smoker going, chicken fights, BudLight, hunting, fishing and every single beautiful sunrise. He was always present, supportive, consistent, funny, genuine, and creative. Odis was a loving Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Father, Papa, Cousin, and Friend. He was the most loving man- he would give the shirt off of his back for someone in need. In the words of his Aunt Pam- He is Perfect!!

My Dad has always been my consistent in life, no matter what I could count on him to always be there and offer his ear, shoulder, knowledge and a joke, if needed! The best part is that his consistency was also with my girls and really anyone he met and kept in life. Every holiday he could out-bake anyone with the best pies! Pecan, No-Lemon, Sweet Potatoe and Apple! But he could also BBQ like no other! I will never forget our Saturday night meals as a kid and the BBQ Chicken and veggies he would grill. The best on this earth! He is a One of a kind, Simple Man💙
