Ole Hesseldahl, 86, born in Copenhagen, Denmark, passed Thursday, January 16, 2019. Ole was born to Evard, and Rigmor, August 22, 1932.
Ole immigrated from Denmark to Paris, France. He received a degree of music from Conservatoire de Paris in 1955. At college, he befriended sisters, Mexican Opera Singer Margarita Gonzalez and Olga Gonzalez. Ole would later marry Olga in 1957.
Ole worked as an artisan, interior designer & entrepreneur. Ole would open an interior decorating store with his wife in Mexico City until he retired in 1988.
In 1995, Ole moved to his farm, in San Jeronimo Amanalco, near Mexico City, after the passing of his wife. Once there, he became involved with the indigenous people, community, and animal rights. He was a prominent patron of the arts. In 2014, he founded Texcoco County's Community Center of Arts & Crafts.
By the year 2017, he moved back with his family in Cuernavaca, Morelos. He passed away on the night of January 16th of 2019.
Ole was a kind and loving husband and father, whose love of music, nature, changed many lives for the better.
Ole is survived by 2 children: Monica and Mario, and by 4 grandchildren Cory, Mario Jr., Fernando, and Ricardo.
