In her home in San Mateo, on October 25, 2014, Olga H. Cava passed away. She was born on December 20, 1919 in San Francisco where she remained until moving to San Mateo in 1953. She graduated from Galileo High School where she met her longtime sweetheart and husband, Baptiste (Batty). They were married for 73 years until his passing on July 26, 2014. Olga will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her beautiful paintings and her exceptional cooking. Her grandchildren often referred to her as "grandma meatball" due to her expertise with Italian cooking. She is survived by her two daughters: Gail (Dennis) Campbell, Roberta (Joe) Robinson and her beloved son, Gregory Cava, who preceeded her in death. She will be missed by her five grandchildren, Bryan and Brett Grauss, Kersten Barrom, Dustin Robinson and Rebecca Brandi. She will also be missed by her fourteen great grandchildren , nieces, Beverly (Tom) Doonan and Linda (Fred Koelling), great nieces nephews and other family members. She was a member of the Italian Womens Guild of San Mateo. Olga will be missed by everyone but know that she is at peace now that she is with her, "B.J."
