Olin David Sanders passed away Friday May 19, 2023 with his family by his side. Olin was born September 22, 1946 in Swansea SC to Tate and Geraldine Sanders. 

Out of high school he enlisted for the Marine Corps Reserve and served four years. After his time spent in the reserves, he picked up a masonry job and moved to Maryland where he was living when he met his wife, Mary Sanders. 

After a few months he moved to Fredericksburg, VA with her to start a family where they shared two kids, Hugh and Toni. After he retired at the age of 50, he enjoyed fishing and boating with his wife in their RV. 

The past 15 years he spent close to his children and his grandkids taking an active role in their lives. 

Olin is survived by his children, Hugh Beirne and Toni Kelley; grandchildren, Keira, Jayden, Riley, Gabriel, and Cameron. 

Olin was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 43 years, Mary who passed only two months ago. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
