Schwoerer, Olive A.Olive A. Schwoerer, age 98, formerly of St. Nazianz, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Oak Creek Assisted Living, Kiel.She was born on October 26, 1918 in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late John & Katherine (Pitz) Schneider.She attended St. Fidelis school in the Town of Meeme.On November 25, 1936 she married William F. Schwoerer at St. Fidelis Catholic Church.William preceded her in death on December 28, 1978.The couple farmed the homestead in the Town of Eaton their entire married lives. Olive also worked at the Salvatorian Center in the mailroom as well as a cook at the Salvatorian Seminary for 10 years. She also was a volunteer for many years for Meals on Wheels.Olive was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz where she belonged to the Christian Mothers and the Lady Foresters where she was an officer. She also was a member of the Lioness Club and played in various sheepshead clubs.Olive enjoyed baking, cooking, and entertaining her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She further enjoyed crocheting, crafts, card clubs, traveling, and tending to her gardens.Survivors include her five daughters; Shirley (Jack) Kimla, Port Washington, Judith McNulty, Plymouth, Donna (Ronald) Schneider, Sherwood, Karen (Dennis) Graf, Newton, Mary (Richard) Ross, Brillion and 17 grandchildren; William (Josette) Kimla, Brian (Laure) Kimla, Shawn (Holly) McNulty, Colleen (Dan) Huibregtse, Sheila (Lance) Doenier, Ryan McNulty, Tim (Heather) Schneider, Chris (Jackie) Schneider, Nick (Jackie) Schneider, Kerri (Darin) Bramstedt, Wade (Christina) Graf, Steve (Kim) Graf, Jennifer (Dale) Johnson, Jason (Amy) Graf, Amy (Steve) Saunders, Becky Morrin and Cory Ross. She is further survived by 32 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, sister-in-law, Joyce Schneider, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant daughter, son-in-law, Peter McNulty, one great granddaughter, Leah Doenier, five brothers, Harold, Joseph, Raphael, Leander & Gerald, four sisters, Helen, Mildred, Agnes, Lorraine and seven sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law.The funeral Mass for Olive will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz with Fr. Patrick Nelson S.D.S. and Deacon Bernard "Pat" Knier officiating.Burial will take place in the church cemetery.Family and friends may gather at the church from 10:00 am until 11:45 am when brief family rites will take place.
