Krajnek, Olive E.Olive E. Krajnek, age 94, formerly of Maribel, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 7, 2017 at Harbor View Assisted Living in Manitowoc with her loving family at her side.The former Olive E. Zeman was born on July 7, 1922 in the town of Cooperstown, daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Krish) Zeman. On July 23, 1946, she married Joseph Krajnek at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Together they farmed Olive's family homestead just south of Rosecrans until their retirement. After retirement, the couple moved to a residence in Maribel and then to Harbor View Assisted Living of Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2016. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 63-year member of the St. Joseph Rosary Society of Kellnersville. Olive took much pride in her years of gardening, her flowers and baking and cooking all the wonderful Bohemian treats for her family and friends.Survivors include her one daughter and son-in-law: Joyce (James) Havlovitz, Denmark; one son and daughter-in-law: Terrance (Sandi) Krajnek, Cato; five grandchildren: Rick (Jodi) Havlovitz, Maribel; Holly (Shane) Cherney, Cedar Grove; Phil (Toni) Krajnek, Mukwonago; Rob (Dale) Krajnek, Boston, MA; Kristin (Joey) Donahue, Manitowoc; eight great-grandchildren: Kyle and Kole Havlovitz; Kaylee and Brooklyn Cherney; Carter and Ellison Krajnek; Cason Krajnek; and Brayden Donahue; one sister-in-law: Marcella Krall, Manitowoc, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Emma Zeman; step-mother: Mary Zeman; her husband: Joseph Krajnek; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Rose (Wencil) Weber; Helen (Charles) Bohachek; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Edward (Agnes) Krajnek; Mary (Alvin) Novak; Josephine (Ben) Lodl; Agnes (Quiren) Peck; Lillian (Walter) Malach; Emma (Ralph) Schroeder; Libby (Robert) Taicher; Alois Krall; Jerry Ashenbrenner.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 522 Tower Avenue, Kellnersville. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
