Anderson, Oliver "Andy",Oliver W. Anderson, 102, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 8, 2017. Oliver was born on December 9, 1914 in Los Angeles, California to the late Harry and Martha (Schmidt) Anderson. He was also preceded in death by his brother Charles and sister Viola Peacock.He retired from Bell South after working 35 years in 1986. He proudly served our county in the U.S. Army during WWII working in the intelligence department. Oliver was a member of Pioneers of America, a charter member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and a past member of Blairwood Tennis Club. Oliver is survived by his wife Lucille (Shotwell) Anderson and daughter Sandra Martin. He is also survived by granddaughters Laura Hubrich (David), Krista Buckley (Matthew) and six great grandchildren Trent, Dustin, Lauren, Hunter, Lily and Grant. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until 5:00pm on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).
