JIMMERSON LAKE — Ondalee Cobler, 68, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born on Nov. 3, 1947, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Frank A. and Hilda A. (Edwards) Monroe. She worked at Magnavox for 28 years before retiring in 2003. She also worked with the Butler EMS for five years. Ondalee is a member of the St. Joe Lutheran Church, Auburn Moose Lodge and an auxiliary member of the St. Joe Fire Department. She married John C. Cobler on March 30, 1985, in St. Joe and he survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Kimberly R. (Larry) Handshoe of Rome City, Lucinda J. (Derek) North of Angola and Joann M. Hinchman of St. Joe; eight grandchildren, JoOnna Cobler, Andrew Brandon, Kassandra Handshoe, Tyler Brandon, Gerrit Hinchman, Miranda Hinchman, Bryce Weicht and Katie North; and one great-granddaughter, Viviannah Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stephen L. Monroe. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, Indiana, with the Rev. Merle Holden officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
