We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Orris Wesley "WES" Johnston, who was born on November 12, 1970 in Westport, Washington, United States.
WES passed away on October 1, 2023 due to a bleeding stroke that caused an unknown brain aneurysm to rupture. He leaves behind his beloved son, Travis DeBaun. WES was the son of Robert Orris Johnston and Judy Lynn Smith.
WES was known for his hard work and dedication as a Commercial Shrimp Fisherman. He was passionate about his work and always gave his best on the boat.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love for the ocean. WES touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
May he rest in peace.
