Orville Thomas was born on July 20, 1955, in Corn Piece Hayes, Clarendon, Jamaica. He passed away at the age of 68.He was the eleventh child born to the late Clifford and Margaret Thomas.

Orville is survived by his six children, Patrice Thomas, Dana Thomas, Kadia Thomas, Rashae Josephs, Rocqae Thomas, and Rhanae Thomas, and ten grandchildren.

He attended Hayes Primary School before beginning his career as a talented tradesman and carpenter. Orville worked at the Alcoa Bauxite plant in Jamaica from 1978 to 1983 before moving to America in 1984. In Brooklyn, NY, he worked as a welder.

Outside of work, Orville enjoyed listening to reggae music, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. He also had a passion for spectating and betting on horse races.

Orville Thomas will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Viewing & Service

The funeral service will be held at Greensboro Sda Church located at 1320 Fleming Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410from 2:00 - 6:00 PM on Saturday May 25,2024. The viewing will be from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.

Burial

Burial will be held at 3901 Forest Lawn Dr. Greensboro, NC 27455. At forest Lawn Cementary Sunday May 26,2024 at 10:00am
