We are saddened to announce the passing of Oscar Johnson on February 15, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1953, to his loving parents Oscar Johnson and Thelma Lee Johnson.

Oscar leaves behind his two children, Oscar Johnson III and Chenise Johnson, as well as three grandchildren. His family was the light of his life, despite always mixing up their names.

Oscar attended Worthing High School, where he graduated in 1972. He then went on to study at Texas Southern University, where he quickly became the life of the party. His charm and wit were unmatched, even when it came to his studies.

Throughout his professional career as a draftsman, Oscar never failed to bring laughter and light to those around him. His ability to turn even the most mundane tasks into a joke will be sorely missed by his colleagues.

Oscar's unique sense of humor and infectious laugh will be remembered by all who knew him. While he may have left this world too soon, we can take comfort in the fact that he is surely cracking jokes up in heaven.
