Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. Services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Faith Deliverance Church, 5501 US HWY 277 South with Pastor Jerry Jordan officiating with burial following in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Oscar was born on June 22, 1955 in Coleman, TX. He attended school in Coleman and also Brownwood where he graduated in 1974. Oscar attended Paul Quinn College in Waco, TX from 1974-1975. He then moved to Abilene and attended Hardin Simmons University in 1975. Oscar was a dedicated employee of Coca Cola for 36 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, T.W. Lewis and Geraldine Lewis; and two sisters, Sandra Cantu and Linda Vales. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Patsy Kay Lewis of Abilene; a son, Oscar T. Lewis Jr. and wife LaShanda of Denton; a daughter, Stephanie Lewis and fiance, Ronnie Moore of Abilene; six grandchildren, Zenia Lewis, Desireah Lewis, and Ajoneah Lewis all of Denton, TX; and Brittany Lewis, Levi Brown, and Ethan Moore all of Abilene, TX; three brothers, Tommy Lewis and Charlie Lewis of Santa Anna, and Norris Lewis of Coleman; three sisters, Donna Sands and Sherry Hamilton of Dallas, and Carolyn Dunlap of Bangs; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
