Oshun Crenshaw , 27, of Chicago, Illinois, passed on November 21, 2023. Oshun was born on May 23, 1996. He was born to the union of Barbara Smith and Leonard Crenshaw. Oshun was the fourth oldest of seven children born to this union.
Oshun was educated at Irvin c mollison elementary School and Wendell Phillips high School on the south side of Chicago. Shortly after high school, Oshun embarked upon the greatest joy of his life- becoming the proud father of 3 beautiful children. Affectionately called, Pa or JoJo, Oshun was literally the father to everyone who needed one. Two of his brothers Troy and Anthony and grandfather Shaquille Crenshaw all proceeded him in death.
Oshun leaves behind: Mother,Tiara Smith, Father, Leonard Crenshaw, Son's De'Andre,Steven,Prince Crenshaw, He also leaves behinds his siblings, Chris, Kendrick, Kendell, Vondell, Cordell, Aliyah, Taniya, Makayla, Chevelle ,Grandmother Rose smith
Oshun warm-hearted nature and fatherly instincts made him a great fit for working with troubled children and young adults.for three years oshun volunteered for the boys & girls club on the north side of Chicago where he gained many people to support. Oshun most important life's work was being a remarkable father and brother. He took excellent care of his family and those around him. Oshun was a strong independent individual and always taught his children and siblings to "make it happen"Even when like was tough.
Isaiah 40:29-31 – He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
