Paola, Kansas - The community of Paola is saddened by the passing of Otto Flowers on April 7, 2023, at the age of 70. Otto was born on March 12, 1953, to parents Michael and Evelyn Flowers, in Paola, Kansas. He grew up in Paola, where he spent most of his life, and became a beloved member of the community.

As a child, Otto was known for his infectious energy and curiosity. His parents describe him as a happy child who was always eager to learn new things. In high school, Otto became interested in science and technology, which led him to pursue a degree in engineering at the University of Kansas. After graduation, he went on to work as an engineer at a local manufacturing company, where he spent the rest of his career.

During his years working, Otto was known for his meticulous attention to detail and his creativity in finding solutions to complex problems. His colleagues described him as a dedicated worker and an excellent team player, always willing to go above and beyond to help others. He was awarded several patents for his innovative work in engineering.

Despite his busy career, Otto always made time for his family and friends. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Martha, for 47 years, and a loving father to his two children, Anna and David.
