LAGRANGE — Owen David Boggs, 72, of LaGrange, IN, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 30, 2015, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital. Mr. Boggs was born on September 24, 1942, in LaGrange County, IN, to Orlin F. and Clara Ruth (Bowman) Boggs. Living his lifetime in LaGrange County, he was a truck driver, retiring after 50 years. He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in LaGrange, Pheasants Forever, Pine Knob Conservation Club, LA Breakfast Club, and National Rifle Association. On September 29, 1963, in Howe, IN, he married Connie Ireta Miller; Mrs. Boggs survives in LaGrange, IN. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Sean McBryde of Madison, WI; two sons, David Owen Boggs of Orlando, FL, and Robert S. Boggs of Tilton, IL; two grandchildren, Makenzie and Michael McBryde both of Madison, WI; his step-mother, Romayne (Gibson) Boggs of Goshen, IN; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Twyla and Gerald Dudley of Scottsdale, AZ, Diane and Robert Robinson of Middlebury, IN, and Sally and Mark Hans of Mishawaka, IN; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Robert and Kathy Agley of Monticello, IN, Duane and Arlys Boggs of Howe, IN, Daniel and Kathy Agley of Bloomington, IN, Dick and Gerrie Boggs of White Water, CO, and Danny Boggs of Indianapolis, IN. His parents, and a brother, Dennis Alton Boggs, preceded him in death. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at 1st United Methodist Church, 209 W. Spring St., LaGrange, IN, with Revs. Chris Danielson and Dexter Garman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN.
