Pamela Reid, beloved daughter of Carnell Reid and Dorothy Bennett, was born on March 22, 1963 in Gaffney, South Carolina. She passed away on May 12, 2024 in Harlem, New York where she resided after moving from down south.
Pamela leaves behind her three children, Marquese Reid, Shaunda Harris, and David Reid, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind three adoring grandchildren, Laila-Coutore, Mason, and Miss Satori.
Pamela is also survived by her siblings Deborah Scott (of Atlantic City, NJ), Paulette Hardy (of Gaffney, SC), Mark Reid (of Harlem, NY), and a hosts of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pamela attended Martin Luther King High School where she excelled in her studies and made lifelong friends. She was a dedicated care-taker who worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being of those around her.
When she wasn't working, Pamela enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a passion for care-taking and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Pamela was also the founder of C4L (Cousins 4 Life)!
Unfortunately, Pamela's life was cut short by cancer, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering love for her family.
Rest in peace, Pamela. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
