Semisch (Ripplinger), Pamela JeanPamela Jean Semisch (Ripplinger), 60, passed away at the Dove Healthcare Wissota on May 25, 2017.She was born on February 18, 1957 to Robert and Marion (Aude) Ripplinger in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She married Norman Semisch on May 9, 1980.Pam attended Chippewa Falls Senior High School and graduated in 1975. After high school she attended District One Technical Institute. She was employed at Northwestern Motors, then Cray Research and finally SGI where she retired. Pam enjoyed playing softball and horseback riding. She spent several summers showing horses with her aunt Yvonne and enjoyed trail riding with her mom and sister. Her softball team was a regular participant in local tournaments and these team members became her lifelong friends. Together Pam and Norm enjoyed traveling and took many trips out west. Their favorite place to visit was Yellowstone National Park. Pam was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her mid-twenties but despite this she maintained a positive attitude and enjoyed life. She will be missed by all but especially her husband Norm. We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. And we would especially like to thank the staff and caregivers at Dove Healthcare and St. Josephs Hospice for their care of Pam in her final days of life.She is survived by her husband, Norman; parents, Robert and Marion (Aude) Ripplinger; mother-in-law, Helen Semisch; brother, Micheal (Susan) Ripplinger, and his family, Cherie and Robin Bergeron; sister Cheryl (Dennis) Wettstein, and her family, Sheila Wettstein and her son Henry Reindl, Alex Wettstein; brother, Steven (Sandra) Ripplinger, and his family, Steven (Nicole) Ripplinger Jr and their daughters Emma and Maggie, Danielle Ripplinger; brother, Douglas (Lisa) Ripplinger and his family, Kendra and Emily Ripplinger; maternal aunts, Bonita Aude, Yvonne Vandner, Sharon(Bradley) Coss.Pamela is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arther and Reganot Ripplinger; maternal grandparents Byron and Hilda Aude; uncle and aunt, William and Jean Ripplinger; father-in law, Arnie Semisch; brother-in law, Mark Semisch.Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Stokes, Prock, and Mundt Funeral Chapel, Altoona from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family with arrangements.
