Pam was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia. Her parents were Maxine and John Morgan and her brother is John Morgan. She eventually married Doug McCracken and had 3 daughters who are now grown and married. Pam loved her daughters and loved all children and animals. Throughout her life she worked with kids often. She was a substitute elementary teacher, Pta parent and leader. Also went on to teach after school ceramic classes to kids and summer ceramic camps at her home for kids. She also was a firm Believer. She spent a lot of time at church and was the kids choir director for many years. She directed many kids musicals and all the children loved her and still do. Many reached out to her years later, as adults to share how much they cared for her.
After the families move to Nokesville she went on to work for an animal hospital and made just as much of an impression there. She was the face of the front desk and always there to answer the phones and be friendly with clients, who all loved her! And still do.
In retirement she kept up with her art. Not only ceramics, but glass work, painting, all sorts of creativity. And also spending time with her beloved dogs and horses and grandkids.
Illness plagued her the last year of her life, but her faith never wavered. She kept believing in God and made the best out of things. She was at peace to go home to her heavenly Father.
Pamela is survived by her brother John, her husband Doug, her 3 daughters Meagan, Bethany and Cecelia. And 3 grandchildren Julian, Christian and Eliot.
