Cummings, Patricia APatricia A Cummings, age 85, of Bancroft WI passed away Saturday morning December 17th, 2016 at Eden Meadows in Oshkosh, surrounded by her family in heart.Patricia was born on August 18, 1931 in the town of Pine Grove, the daughter of Allen and Edith Hotchkiss. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1948. Patricia married Frank J Cummings on November 26, 1949. After 58 years of marriage, Frank preceded her in death in 2007. They spent their lives raising their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed being part of the Home Makers in Bancroft. She enjoyed knitting, needle work and craft projects. In her retirement, she also enjoyed the farm and horses.She is survived by her children; Susan D. (John) Wegner, James A. Cummings, Mary J. (Robert) Schock, Jerry L. (Diane) Cummings; Grandchildren, Cassie (Amy) Stadler, Cory (Kim Szozda) Wegner, Troy (Cindy) Day, Mike (Connie) Day, Brian (Lisa) Cummings, Traci (Eric) Kolodzik, Jennifer (Justin) Thompson, Daniel (May K) Schock, Benjamin (Michelle) Cummings, Jason (Bobbi Krause) Cummings; and 18 Great Grandchildren; Brothers Richard (Donna) Hotchkiss and Roger (Andrea) Hotchkiss.She was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Edith, her husband Frank and her son Jack D. Cummings , her daughter-in-law Kathleen Cummings, and sisters Shirley Hintz and Marietta Scherzer.A very special thank you to her niece, JoAnn Cummings for the loving care and companionship she offered our mother unconditionally.We would also like to thank the staff at Aspirus Hospital-Wausau, Eden Meadows in Oshkosh and Affinity Hospice for helping us care for our mother.Family and friends may call from 10 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service, at Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Service will be held at 12 Noon. Burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery. A lunch will be served at the Bancroft Community Center following internment. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
