Patricia (Pat) Ann BrowerMarine CityPatricia (Pat) Ann Brower went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2016. Pat was born on December 18, 1944 in Rayland, Ohio to the late John and Anna Sudvary. She is survived by her children Lisa (Jack) James of Idaho, Catherine (Gary) Pauli of St. Clair; her grandchildren, whom she cherished, Kayla and Kolin Pauli, Anna Marie (Josh) Gunn, Erika (Corby) Dixon, Jack and Joey James; great-grandchildren Oaklee and Wes Dixon; her siblings John (Chris) and Chuck (Carol) Sudvary; many other family members, and all the people she had a positive impact on throughout the years. She was known as 'Nana' to many, and was loved by all.Pat was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, volunteer at Pine River Elementary and St. Clair Middle School, work with 'Kids in Distress' in St. Clair, and serve food at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Marine City. Pat worked as a beautician after high school before working as a waitress for many years at Captain's Two, Great Lakes Inn, and Colony Bowl in Algonac.Pat would want this memorial to be a celebration of her life and a time for us to share our 'Pat' stories. She would not want fancy formal attire, bright colors are most welcome, and would expect this to be a very casual event in her memory (sweatpants and slippers are permitted).A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 22, at Young Funeral Home, 4601 St. Clair Highway, East China, 48054. Pastor Mitch Olson of Grace Ministry Church will officiate. Visitation prior to the service from 11am-1pm. A Luncheon will be held at the St. Clair Lion's Club on the corner of King Road and St. Clair Highway following service. To leave a message of comfort please visit
