YORK Patricia C. Schorr, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, after a long journey with Alzheimers. She was the wife of the late Gerald T. Schorr. Patricia was born on June 2, 1936 in Glasgow, Montana, a daughter of the late Vernon and Gertrude (Ruby) Slaughter. She retired as a scheduler from Harley Davidson. She was a 1954 graduate of York Catholic High School. She was a 50 year member of the Professional Women's Sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, Laureate Chapter. The viewing will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Carroll officiating. Patricia is survived by two daughters, Teresa M. (Gross) Hengst, wife of Barry of York and Catherine A. (Gross) Himes, wife of Dennis of York; two sons, Thomas D. Gross, husband of Dee of Miami, FL, and Michael C. Gross, husband of Wendy of York; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandsons; sister, Joyce Konicki of St. Paris, Ohio.
